Grant Harvey
BSc, LLB, BMathStat (Hons), Grad Dip. L.P
Grant Harvey is one of the two principal lawyers of Bayani Harvey Lawyers. Grant practices mainly in family law (including children's, property, de facto and other matters) and also has a varied general practice.
Grant is keen to ensure that client's remain involved in the decisions about the progress of their legal matters. In the case of family law matters for example, which can often last for quite lengthy periods of time, clients involvements in decisions is an important means of ensuring that they are satisfied with their legal outcomes.
Legal matters are best resolved as efficiently as possible, to avoid time and money being wasted. This usually means approaching matters realistically and in a business like manner, and is greatly assisted by resolving legal disputes by agreement.
Grant is often involved in either negotiating or mediating legal matters to ensure good outcomes are achieved as efficiently as possible. Grant is determined to achieve outcomes that finalise clients' legal disputes and stops their further costs and worries.
Of course not all matters are able to be resolved by agreement, and Grant is also often involved in litigation, as and when, necessary. Even when a matter is litigated, Grant still endeavours to achieve agreed outcomes at all stages prior to the final hearing or trial.
